As a Custodial Supervisor, reporting to the Account Director, you will be working Overnight supervising hourly janitorial staff in an educational setting. You will be required to maintain company and customer quality standards while leading by example.

Your work will include:

 Shifts and requirements will vary. Flexible schedule, days, nights weekends is a requirement of the job. When no coverage you are required to cover shifts,

• Assigns daily tasks and responsibilities to employees.
• Inspects the work on an ongoing basis to ensure performance is at the expected levels.
• Lead and organize special projects
• Assists with site training of new cleaning personnel
• Trains and implements Health & Safety procedures and ensures that safety devices and PPE are available and properly utilized. Hiring Paperwork
• Maintains time keeping records for cleaning personnel.
• Respond to customer requests and ensure follow up.
• Responsible for inventory control.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Experience in a cleaning environment and supervising a team
• Health and Safety experience including understanding the Supervisors responsibilities under the Occupational Heath and Safety Act
• Resilience, with the ability to work under pressure; Supervisors will be required to work the hours that will encompass the core shift hours for client visits. Weekend and statutory holiday work may be required
• Demonstrate a high level of discretion and confidentiality
• Adapt to operational changes as required/instructed by management from time-to-time
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
• Requires a clear criminal record
