Job Description

WHAT’S THE JOB?
Join our NRB Modular Solutions team, where our people are driven by a desire to innovate, do social good, and move construction forward.

The Materials Administrator, reporting to the Lead Hand and or Supervisor of Materials Distribution, is responsible for the timely entry and or creation of data to support the Materials Distribution department. 

This position is safety sensitive and requires drug and alcohol testing as a condition of employment.

Your work will include:

  • Receive purchase orders and documents into accounting system.
  • Scan and transfer data to accounting Kwik Tag system.
  • Enter/ update information into Smart sheet system.
  • Receive material requisitions and forward to purchasing agents.
  • Create QR and Bar codes for material receiving. 
  • Assist Material Handlers with incoming goods.
  • Participate in inventory and inventory control.
  • Additional duties as instructed.

Qualifications

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • An education background with a high school graduate diploma.
  • Exposure to Construction and/or Warehouse environment.
  • Accounting experience would be an asset.
  • Experience in Excel and Smartsheet systems
  • Knowledge of Excel, Great Plains and Kwik tag is a asset.
  • Strong organizational skill.
  • Positive communication skills. 
  • Ability to work on your own and in a team environment. 
  • Attention to health/safety of self and co-workers.
