Job Description

WHAT’S THE JOB?

As the Housekeeping Supervisor, reporting to the Account Director, you will supervise and coordinate all housekeepers and will be responsible for creating and maintaining the cleanliness of our site facilities to the highest level. 

Your work will include:

  • Assist with training, Health &safety initiatives, Recruitment 
  • Provide housekeeper with positive leadership and set an example of expected requirements
  • Complete inventory and order supplies to budget parameters
  • Assist Account Director with all paperwork required for reporting purposes which may include time sheets, worker incident and accident reports;
  • Assist with inspections and using software 
  • Observe and report any needed repairs or damages in residence to Account Director

Qualifications

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Experience in educational, Janitorial, housekeeping, hotel or a related field of work is considered an asset.
  • Bilingual French and English mandatory.
  • Supervisor experience leading a diverse team;
  • Class G License with advanced driver training is preferred
  • Computer skills are required.  Excel, Word, smart phones, Work order systems
  • Efficient in report writing, scheduling and email communications
  • WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) certification is mandatory
  • Fluent in written and verbal English and French
