Job Description

WHAT'S THE JOB?

Join our NRB Modular Solutions team, where our people are driven by a desire to innovate, do social good, and move construction forward.

The Forklift Operator is responsible for the physical movement of raw materials throughout the production facility.  

$500 Signing Bonus available to new hires after 3 months of employment!

Your Work Will Include:

  • Distribution of building materials from the warehouse to various work sites within the plant
  • Daily inspection of forklift and documentation of same
  • Assistance in loading finished building modules for shipping
  • Sorting and racking of returned, unused raw materials
  • Transport and secure storage of propane cylinders
  • Ensuring the forklift is maintained in good working order, reporting damage to maintenance manager.

Qualifications

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • An experienced forklift operator with at least a high school graduation diploma
  • At least 2-3 years of proven, safe operation of forklifts, both indoor and outdoor
  • Good communication skills
  • The ability to carry out instructions with minimum supervision
  • The ability to prioritize job tasks to meet scheduling demands
  • Familiarity with construction materials will be considered an asset
  • Attention to the Health & Safety of self and of co-workers.
