Job Description

*Summary*: Reporting to the Account Manager, the Dispatcher/Service Coordinator is responsible for service delivery and account operations including coordination of labour, quoting, close out, reporting, feedback and follow up.  A key component of this role is building relationships with client managers and in-house operations staff and vendor partners to support delivery of a full facilities model.


Duties and Responsibilities:

The Dispatcher/Service Coordinator performs some or all the following duties:

·       Oversee the day-to-day deliverable within the Account,

·       Coordinate work completion with Operations Managers (in-house) and Vendor Partners,

·       Plan and oversee peaks and valleys of service requirements, scale resources appropriately and coordinate with project team to ensure resources are available as required,

·       Provides recommendations, pricing and seeks approval from the client to proceed with additional work,

·       Financial accountability to create, execute and ensure margin on fixed price work (quotations),

·       Manage billable hours and ensure the client receives value for money,

·       Drive growth through relationship building, cross selling, identifying new opportunities within a client’s framework, aligning fit and strategy to match clients’, trend monitoring, etc.,

·       Responsible for the safe delivery of the scope of services articulated under the financial and service performance measures unique to the client,

·       Fosters and maintains an effective working relationship with the respective client, customers, suppliers and partners, embracing client retention methodologies,

·       Onboarding quality Vendor Partners that align with our Vision, live our Values, and deliver a quality of service comparable to our in-house work,

·       Demonstrates an advanced customer service culture throughout all services being delivered within the scope of work, budget, and time constraints,

·       Performance plans and reviews of field technicians, identify opportunities for growth and advancement,

·       Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and internal Dexterra protocols, and

·       Establishes and maintains a professional, trusting and positive working relationships with all stakeholders.

·       Strong communication skills, verbal and written (email, reporting),

·       Coordination of labour/partners and management of competing priorities, fluctuating workloads

·       Well-developed organizational, time-management and decision-making skills,

·       High attention to detail, financial acumen to support quotations and maintain margins,

·       Ability to develop a deep roster of Vendor Partners,

·       Ability to maintain and leverage relationships,

·       Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment; and

·       High level of integrity and work ethic.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

·       Post-secondary education from an accredited university or college is preferred,

·       Trades training or understanding of the technical trades is a must,

·       3+ years’ experience coordinating field labour, quoting and client management,

·       Working knowledge of CMMS systems, GPS routing,

·       Working knowledge of MS Based Applications,

·       Understanding of Provincial Codes applicable to trade services, and

·       WHMIS, Safety Training for Supervisors, understanding of Working at Heights, Confined Spaces, Arc Flash
