Job Description
Devoteam is a European tech consulting group helping clients take AI from pilots to value at scale, across AI, Cloud, Data, Cybersecurity and Platforms. M&A is one of the levers of our strategy: we acquire focused, entrepreneurial firms across Europe that bring AI capability, delivery capacity, partner depth and new client access.
You will join a small corporate M&A team working directly with Group executive leadership.
What You Can Expect
- Close proximity with the executive leadership of one of Europe's leading AI-driven tech consulting companies.
- Real ownership: in a lean team, you run workstreams end to end and present your own work to senior management and the Investment Committee.
- A Private Equity-backed, entrepreneurial company, with dynamic multicultural colleagues and cross-border deals.
- An AI-native way of working: the team is rebuilding its own process around AI, and you will be expected to both use and improve it.
What You’ll Do
- Drive the full M&A process on selected strategic targets, from identification to execution:
- Source potential opportunities in line with our strategic plan;
- Gather, analyse, and present information on potential acquisition targets;
- Build the case together with the business sponsor: company profile, IM analysis, strategic fit, key risks and an early view of the integration plan;
- Prepare financial models, target valuations and appropriate sensitivity and scenario analyses to support investment decisions;
- Manage the full transaction cycle: management meetings, project structuring, LOI, due diligence, contract negotiations, closing.
- Build balanced relationships with business stakeholders across our countries, bankers, advisors and all counterparties you will negotiate with.
Qualifications
Who You Are
- Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline (Business, Finance, Econometrics, Engineering, etc.).
- 3 to 5 years of experience in corporate M&A, investment banking or transaction services in an international environment.
- Solid financial modelling and valuation skills, and the ability to turn analysis into a clear story on a slide.
- A hands-on AI user: you already work with generative AI tools daily, you are curious about how they change both our industry and our own job, and you keep a critical eye on their output.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with different stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English and French. Spanish would be a plus.
- Autonomous, rigorous and flexible.
- General knowledge of and curiosity for our industry is a plus.
