As a Java Developer, you will:

• Design, develop, and maintain information systems using Java (or similar languages) and relevant frameworks in line with Salvador Caetano Group standards.
• Participate in planning and solution development, ensuring high-quality delivery within agreed timelines.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to communicate project progress, risks, and opportunities.
• Promote excellence and high performance within your team and the broader development community.

We are looking for candidates with:

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
• Clear and assertive communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
• Proven experience with Java, Quarkus, Spring, and JPA/Hibernate.
• Basic knowledge of deploying solutions on AWS.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with Db2, MySQL, and SQL Server.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a cause-and-effect mindset.
• Critical thinking and the ability to synthesize complex information.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Experience using Atlassian tools is a plus.
