Job Description

What are we looking for?  

As a IAM operations engineer, you will manage day to day activities such as incident and problem management, deployment of new releases, troubleshooting issues, providing support during operational tests and building monitoring infrastructure in an IAM environment.

During the day, you will collaborate with the development team to implement new flows by configuring the OpenAM components, provide onboarding support to customers new to the ForgeRock AM platform, perform some pentesting and follow-through on the technical support of ForgeRock AM and its companion components.

What will your day look like?

As an Identity and Access Management (IAM) Operations Engineer, you will be a part of the Infrastructure Security Team and handle incoming IAM requests from our customers. You will help create and implement least-privilege-based IAM solutions to meet the project and access requirements of the business.

You will implement and create automated systems which reduce the operational load for incoming requests while retaining principles of least privilege and reducing the request and response time for necessary changes. 

Who will you work with? 

You will be part of the Cyber Trust team with more than 50 people in Belgium, exchanging insights and knowledge, “ensuring a secure IT environment protecting the business goals”. You will work with our customer’s business and technical employees to capture, discuss and verify cyber risks. You work on flexible daily basis, on-site at client’s office, at Devoteam in Zaventem or at home. You will report to your practice manager, who will be your point of contact for development and career guidance.

The person we are looking for combines the qualities of a good communicator and an expert in the domains of Information Security and Identity and Access Management. The more boxes you can tick in the list below, the closer you match the ideal profile we are looking for.

Technical Skills

  • Proven experience of 3 years in an application support function – or – you are a developer that wants to make the switch to a more technical support role
  • Experience creating IAM roles, identities and service accounts
  • Working knowledge of authentication and federation protocols (SAML, OAuth2, OpenID Connect)
  • Experience using code and automation tools to simplify and reduce change times
  • Knowledge of general security concepts (PKI, IAM, network security)
  • Hands-on experience with setting up and maintaining ForgeRock AM is considered as a plus

Desired/Preferred Certifications

  • Master’s degree in computer science/Engineer/Cyber Security or relevant work experience in IT Security. 
  • Information Security Certifications are a nice to have
