1.      Ensure compliance with telecoms regulations for licenses and licensees

2.      Study, analyse, coordinate, draft and coordinate company position on telecoms policy and regulatory issued or to be issued on key matters including spectrum, commercial compliance, interconnection, etc.

3.      Preparing company’s position in response to Consultations held by the Regulator, in order to safeguard the company’s best commercial interests while abiding by regulations and in line with best-practice

4.      Work with company’s business development in preparing regulatory data submissions

5.      Support international unit of the company in submission for licenses opportunities overseas

6.      Advise Units of company, including: Commercial unit, Finance Dept., etc. on relevant regulatory aspects of commercial and billing  issues as and when they arise

7.      Represent company’s interests with Telecom Regulator and other government entities in all matters pertaining to telecom regulations

8.      Represent the company at all relevant regulatory conferences and meetings and industry fora

9.      Other duties as requested by Management; which include supporting in administrative duties, annual reviews, corporate yearly reports

1.      Telecommunications engineer with over … years of experience in telecommunication mainly in relation to frequency management and regulatory affairs.

2.      In depth understanding of regulation in the ICT sector and International standards and bodies especially in the development sector and radio regulation sector

3.      Having attended on behalf of Regulator conferences and meetings organised typically by ITU, ASMG, ECC, and attended ITU SG and/or WRC conferences and meetings

4.      Strong communication skills with excellent management skills, strong analytical, problem solving, organizational, and administration skills

5.      Ability to demonstrable strategic management outlook, commercial acumen and understanding of commercial drivers, financial acumen

6.      Must be able to build relationships with third parties and to influence and consulting was essential across diverse stakeholder groups

• Bachelor or higher degree in Engineering, Law, Economics, or related discipline
• At least 5 years work experience with a telecoms operator, consultancy,
• European or national Government institution or Regulatory agency in the area of commercial product pricing or regulatory finance
• Knowledge of the wider telecoms/ ICT sector
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
• Excellent inter-personal skills and strong written and communication skills
• Self-motivated with an ability to work in a small team with limited supervision
• Competent computer literacy skills particularly with Microsoft Office programs
