Job Description

  • Build and develop the sales pipeline for both, the public and private sectors.
  • Determine the technical requirements to meet client goals and act as liaison between the organization’s sales/business development and architect & engineering groups.
  • Respond to requests for information (RFI) or requests for proposals (RFP) from customers, supplying the technical details of proposed solutions.
  • Evangelize the cloud and data to our customer base from a value driven and use case approach.
  • Understanding of our products, services, and our customers’ digital transformation journeys will be crucial to success.
  • Coordinate the transition between pre-sales specifications and implementation engineering once contracts have been awarded.
  • Your challenge will also be to create a dynamic in the teams by sharing your knowledge and by training in new methodologies, use cases and technologies.
  • You will also support customer teams in their transformation process towards AWS or cloud in general.

Qualifications

  • AWS Solutions Architect Associate Certification or other if applicable.
  • Experience in technical presales for IaaS, PaaS, SaaS and data related topics.
  • Experience both in the public and private sector.
  • Strong experience with multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Ability to be comfortable both in enterprise and start-up environment
  • Experience with data lakes.
  • Experience in DevOps environments, automating infrastructures: Terraform or Ansible.
  • Experience around integration and continuous deployment: Jenkins, Git , Travis etc.
  • A true cloud evangelist that is active in his/her community.
  • Fluency in and Arabic and English. 
  • Holding a BA/BS degree (or equivalent experience) in computer science, engineering, or information systems.
  • 7-12 years of industry experience in sales, engineering or consulting.

  • Ability to propose architectural choices and set up technical solutions with a focus on AWS.
  • A love for Hadoop ecosystems, and have a strong interest in development (java, scala, python).
  • Automation (Infrastructure as code).
  • Software factory (continuous integration and delivery).
  • Convinced by the DevOps philosophy, you think that the cloud will be the way to fully express yourself.
  • Understanding of cloud computing and cloud based solutions landscape .
  • Understanding of data as business solution.
  • Ability to translate technical functionalities to business values.

  • Soft skills required to build and cultivate relationships with the customers.
