About the role:
In this role you will be a strategic leader who is passionate about driving financial performance and creating a strong FP&A culture. The ideal candidate has a mastery of financial planning and analysis, a track record of building relationships and a growth-oriented mindset.

The Director of FP&A will be an integral part of the finance team and will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to ensure long-term financial success. This includes performing financial analysis and modeling, developing and managing FP&A processes, providing guidance on financial performance, and providing support and guidance to the broader finance team.

What you will be doing:

  • Perform technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance.

  • Gather, analyze, prepare and summarize recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts.

  • Meet with organizational unit/department managers to discuss and establish timelines and methodologies for completing budgets.

  • Research and compile data to forecast and prepare annual and monthly budget projections for a division or similar group of organizations.

  • Track revenue and expenses on a monthly basis, comparing actual to forecasted figures and make necessary adjustments.

  • Perform economic research and studies in areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance and impact of governmental requirements.

  • Prepare reports for management summarizing results of research, analyses and evaluation of any discrepancies.

What you will need:

  • The ideal candidate has a mastery of financial planning and analysis, a track record of building relationships and a growth-oriented mindset

  • Qualified candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field

  • A minimum of 5 years of FP&A experience with experience forecasting sales, revenue or payment volume

  • Deep understanding of financial planning and analysis processes, strong analytical skills, and sound business judgment

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills are also essential for this role.
