What You Will Do:
Assess, Implement and Enhance the cybersecurity solutions for a state and local agency. Our team is helping our client increase their overall cybersecurity maturity through the use of a gap analysis and cybersecurity roadmap to help them increase their overall cybersecurity maturity. We are looking for cybersecurity professional who is proficient with NIST frameworks, Enterprise Risk Management and strategic cyber operations.
Responsibilities of our architects includes:
Be an active team member on a cybersecurity consulting engagement working with your team and client to deliver the highest quality of work
Assess current cybersecurity state and provide recommendations for future state
Refresh and establish cybersecurity policies and procedures
Advise on cybersecurity roadmap and implementation plans for approved future state
Lead client meetings and be proactive with product development
Work across multiple stakeholders to understand needs, concerns, and risks
Ability to analyze problems, apply quantitative analytical approaches, communicate effectively and confidently, work well in team evolvement
Create high quality presentation and reports to effectively communicate project findings
Develop opinion papers for the client on an as needed basis
What You Will Need:
Masters degree in cybersecurity risk management (or comparable degree) or at least 3 years of experience in cybersecurity risk management
Experience working with and supporting one or more of the following:
Enterprise Risk Management
Cybersecurity CSF baseline assessments
Developing a Risk Register
Various NIST frameworks
Developing cybersecurity policy and procedures
Have familiarity and experience with state and local government clients
What Would Be Nice to Have:
Experience supporting state and local government clients
Cybersecurity certifications (Security+, CISM, CISA)
3 or more years of cybersecurity experience
3 or more years of Enterprise Risk Management and Risk Assessment profiling
Experience managing direct client engagement team to deliver impactful support to Federal clients
Experience with managing/supporting and/or knowledge of cybersecurity or high value asset program
Knowledge of Cybersecurity Framework, Risk Management, NIST 800-83 Rev 5,
Experience developing and maintaining working relationships while serving clients virtually
Ability to identify obstacles and opportunities that impact the success of plans or initiatives
Communicates effectively and demonstrates leadership role with clients and fellow team member.
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
