Job Description

Superior Healthcare was founded in 2006 by Stewart Thorp, his father Charles and Sarah Richards in response to their experience of caring for Stewart’s brother and Charles’ son, Alex, who has an acquired brain injury.

From their personal experience, Charles and Stewart identified the importance of a specialised care service that would bridge the gap between independent care providers and national organisations. Superior Healthcare was founded with the objective of providing specialised services for people who have complex and long term health needs as a well as a comprehensive healthcare agency providing staffing solutions employing Healthcare Assistants, Support Workers and Registered Nurses across Kent.

The Role

-As a Registered Children’s Nurse you will work closely with our Nurse Managers to deliver quality care to children who have Complex Care requirements such as tracheostomy care, ventilation (CPAP/BiPap), suctioning, cough assist, PEG/JEJ and medication management.

-Within this role, you will work within a small pool of packages of care supporting conditions such as spinal muscular atrophy, cerebral palsy, brain injury, congenital muscular dystrophy and other long-term health conditions.

-The ideal candidate will be flexible and be able to commit to a regular working pattern and work closely with our Care Coordinators to deliver quality care.

-Building rapport with clients and families while working 121 within the family home working to achieve their individual goals.

-Opportunity to grow and develop into a supervisor or management role.

-Location: Sandwich

-Shifts: Regular Thursday Nights

Requirements

-You must hold a UK driving license

-You must hold a clean and valid NMC PIN registration.

-Compassion, confidence, and a gentle caring nature.

-To be able to fit seamlessly into the 121 setting.

-To be able to commit to 12 hour shifts.

-The right to work in the UK.
