Acorn Education & Care are recruiting Children’s Care Workers to join our teams within the Wiltshire area. Your empathy and warmth will enable you to support vulnerable children aged 7-18 with social, emotional and mental health difficulties (SEMH). This means that the Children we care for may have experienced challenging or traumatic upbringings and may have difficulties with anxiety, mental health or in some cases self-harm.
Kates Bench Farm is a 4 bedded residential provision for both girls and boys aged between 10 -18 with Social Emotional Mental Health challenges (SEMH). We require a Residential Support Worker to join our team. Kates Bench Farm is set in a rural location in Wiltshire, we offer trauma informed holistic approach to care, which is designed to provide an enriching and positive environment in which the young people are able to achieve their full potential.
Kates Bench is based in Maiden Bradley, a small village outside Warminster and is within commuting distance from Bath, Salisbury, Bristol and surrounds

· Become the “go to” person for help, support and guidance with their everyday needs
· Willingness to learn not only about the people we support, but the ins and outs of Children’s Residential Care, by working towards a funded qualification in Level 4 Apprenticeship for Children Young People and Families Practitioner (if you do not currently hold this or equivalent)
