Role: Waking Night Residential Childcare Worker

Location: Rotherham, South Yorkshire

Salary: Up to £23,386.80 per annum

Hours:   42 hours per week

               10.00pm – 10.00am, 12 hour shifts

Contract: Full Time; Permanent

Essential: Full Driving Licence and the Right to Work in the UK

Acorn Education and Care, are recruiting Waking Night Residential Childcare Workers to join our teams within the Sheffield and South Yorkshire areas. Our registered independent homes offer residential care for vulnerable children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) and Complex Needs.

Contracts available – Full Time Days

Who we are looking for:

· People with a big heart and passion to make a difference to the residents’ lives

· Understanding that the people we care for can be challenging

· Be patient, resilient and calming

· Become the “go to” person for help, support and guidance with their everyday needs

· Willingness to learn not only about the people we support, but the ins and outs of Children’s Residential Care, by working towards a funded qualification - Level 3 Diploma in Residential Chidcare (if you do not currently hold this or equivalent)

· Full UK Driving Licence
