Location:        Bramfield House School, Halesworth

Salary:            up to £38,000 per annum

Hours:             37.5 hours a week; Monday to Friday

Contract:        Permanent

We are looking for an experienced Teacher to join our fantastic team at Bramfield House School, Halesworth. As a Teacher of IT, Media, Computer Science and/or Enterprise, you will take a creative approach to teaching pupils according to their educational needs, ensuring delivery of the school curriculum in a way that maximises children’s achievement and ability to develop.

We are looking for a Teacher experienced in IT, Media, Computer Science and/or Enterprise and who shares our vision to build incredible futures by empowering vulnerable young people in the UK to be happy and to make their way in the world.

Educated to degree level and of Qualified Teacher Status, you will be calm, engaging, resilient, and have an innovative style of teaching, motivated by helping every child to reach their potential.

Essential Criteria

  • Formal tertiary qualification in Teaching/ Education
  • Tertiary standard of literacy and numeracy skills (minimum GCSE or equivalent)
  • Willingness to participate in training and development as and when identified by line manager as essential for performance of the post
  • Willingness to extend personal and professional development
  • Demonstrable experience of working with children and young people in a classroom or other learning environment
  • Experience of working with the National Curriculum and any other relevant learning frameworks and strategies
