As a logistics employee you will be scheduled for the early mornings.  The standard shift starts at 6:00 AM and ends at 10:00 AM.  During busy days/periods we work with a shift that starts at 5.00 am and ends at 10.00 am.  You take care of the unloading of the freight, the internal transport within the store and the correct filling of all sales locations.  You do this by working in a safe manner and with the right material at your disposal.

When you start with us, you will start with a scanner, pallet truck and a stacker.  You work neatly, you stick to the working methods and processes that have been drawn up.  If you are someone who likes to develop and feels responsible, then there are certainly opportunities within logistics/IKEA.  This includes obtaining a reach truck and/or forklift certificate, or you will be responsible for a department within our Marketplace together with sales.  How do you ensure that our products are presented to customers in the right way?  Together with the team, you ensure that the store is ready for opening and that the customer leaves our store satisfied with his or her product.

This is an entry level job. You will start part-time and for about 12-24 hours a week.
