The Billing Manager Finance Operations is responsible for monitoring billing for our partners worldwide within the O2C department, all with a global or multi-regional responsibility, related delivery of support, process improvements and innovation. This role will help to create and drive the strategic development of the Billing team and implement scalable solutions and best practices in the fields of Finance Operations and its stakeholders. 

The Billing Manager Finance Operations is responsible to build and develop a strong Global team, accountable for the direction and the objectives of the team, their performance and the stakeholder management of all the teams that fall under the scope of this role. 

B.Responsible:

• Oversee the daily operations in Billing, making sure that the team maintains the agreed service level agreements to our stakeholders and partners.
• Lead the Billing Team and responsible for the development of individuals (manage managers) within that team. Coach and direct people to allow them to achieve both department and individual objectives
• Develop the strategic direction and targets for the teams, define objectives and key results
• Work together with key stakeholders (PaaS, Tax, Payments,  O2C, Corp Accounting) and Billing POs to streamline operations aiming to increase effectiveness and efficiencies.
• Key contact for escalations. Support the team in detecting errors in billing processes and resolve complex billing issues.
• Act as a Point of communication and escalation level, for external and internal stakeholder relationships, as well towards executive levels, where required when resolving any technical and process issues relating to the scope of the organization
• Assist with keeping controls up to date and advise and/or implement new ones based on business needs and contribute to innovation in close alignment of the Finance leadership and the wider department and our stakeholders
• Have a global responsibility for defining and establishing processes and procedures, which ensure the quality and integrity of financial data 
• Help to develop and implement global strategic goals and objectives for process improvements to implementation in the accounting and finance departments . Own the realization of complex, business driven, cross-functional innovation and improvement projects, while ensuring global standardization and scalability of the innovation
• Have the ability to work and communicate cross departmental and at LT stakeholders level 
• Networking on strategic and executive level as well as acting as a strategic advisor to (Executive) Leadership Team on financial and accounting matters across the company

B.Skilled

• 8-10 years of experience in billing, Order2Cash, invoicing
• Experience with managing 10+ people
• Proven experience and high display of analytical and organization skills 
• Proven experience as a cross departmental connector and facilitator, with a focus on the Finance department 
• Strong leadership and negotiation skills, leading by example, get the full buy-in 
• Ability to deal with department escalations and organizational needs independently 
• Proven track record in a particular area of expertise and management
• Experience managing large Billing Team, and individual contributors on a multinational level 
• Ability to adjust the message to the audience, communicate effectively 
• Excellent command in verbal and written English language
• Solid knowledge and expertise of ERP software selection, roll out and /or business processes and/or IT (scrum, project management) 
• Lean Six Sigma Black belt, international tech company exposure and Accounting qualifications is a plus
