Job Description
The PS Global Change and Implementation Specialist sits across multiple, cross-functional, strategic and commercially important change projects. The role partners with change owners, and has the responsibility of creating appropriate and tailored change plans in order to land the changes successfully. This role will provide solutions for low and medium impact changes with a global scope and impact 1700 Local Partner Services (LPS) employees. LPS are the roles around the world that manage Booking.com’s partner relationships.
In order to achieve this successfully, your primary tasks include ownership and execution of deliverables related to small changes - i.e. impact assessment, creating, publishing, & monitoring of Small Changes and supporting creation of materials on larger changes. They are able to own elements (comms, testing, feedback loop, etc.) of Change for larger changes with support and guidance from a Change and Implementation Lead or Senior Change and Implementation Specialist and are able to work independently on smaller scale/impacting tasks/projects. The specialist will need to manage both central and regional / local stakeholders, advise project teams on timing and impact and support the entire change cycle. In this process, you are supported by senior change specialists.
You will need to act as a role model and advocate change management processes and tools to remove barriers and resistance to change. Driving internal continuous improvement within the Global Change and Implementation Team is an additional and important focus.
B.Responsible
- Coordinate the change and implementation release processes for the team
- Create and implement change management plans that maximize employee adoption of change and minimize resistance for low/medium impact changes
- Create & edits content as appropriate for changes
- Decides on use of pre-defined channels for communication based on change impact
- Negotiates timelines with Change Owners
- Support Senior Change and Implementation Specialist or Lead with executing at task level on Medium & Large Changes
- Deliver day-to-day tasks defined by Senior Change and Implementation Specialist or Lead or a larger Change Plan
- Work across central booking team silos and establish ways of engaging LPS with changes
- Able to gather information quickly in order to understand Booking.com partner facing products and how LPS works in order to be able to understand the impact of changes on the operation
- Support with continuously improving team processes aligned to best practices in change management.
- Collaborate with regional stakeholders in order to ensure the best change experience for LPS.
- Gather feedback in order to design aftercare/follow up plans to further support successful adoption/landing of the change.

- Excellent influencer with the ability to identify and influence stakeholder groups
- Expert organizational, interpersonal, communication and networking skills.
- 1-2 years experience in the following areas: Change Management, Project management, Implementation management in an Operational environment
- Comfortable with how LPS works and able to understand the impact of changes on the operation
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
