Apply a holistic user centric view to the topic of Onboarding and lead the creation of a seamless end to end Onboarding journey for all new hires at Booking.com.

To own the programme management for end to end Onboarding initiatives for role out at global scale. To form and lead working groups through complex project/programme timelines, owning end to end delivery from start to scaled delivery. To build and manage stakeholder relationships.  To be the point of contact to all cross functional teams that impact the Onboarding experience and work in close partnership with them to ensure alignment and timely delivery of their part in the Onboarding journey. To drive evaluation, and reporting for end to end Onboarding in partnership with the People Analytics and Research Team. Continuous small step improvement based on data. To build relationships to consult and inform on the Onboarding experience at Booking.

Role based in The Netherlands.

B.responsible

  • Lead the development and be the Process Owner of global end-to-end projects in the area of Onboarding, driving cross functional discussions and decisions, ensuring optimal process flow creation for seamless employee and Hiring Manager Experience.
  • Partner with the People Systems team for the implementation of technical solutions, sign off solution design and lead functional change management.
  • Partner with Risk & Control team to ensure designed onboarding process and solution is compliance with relevant controls, privacy and security regulations
  • Support the development of the operations side (build SLA’s, escalation processes) & maintenance of the end to end Onboarding experience
  • Implement roll out of global end to end Onboarding experience, including stakeholder management at all levels including LT
  • Lead complex, multi-team working groups across all areas of the business at all stakeholder levels, from end to end: commission to evaluation & iteration
  • Programme manage implementation, including resource planning, budget management, communications, and stakeholder relations, incl. WoCo and LT
  • Collaborate with People Analytics to identify appropriate metrics to measure impact of the different stages of the Onboarding experience and ensuring actions

B.skilled 

  • 5+ years of previous experience of Project/Program Management is essential. 
  • Understanding of Employee Experience and user centric design is essential (subject matter expertise). Experience in rolling out/managing onboarding end to end.
  • An excellent knowledge of programme management combined with the ability to deliver pragmatic and impactful solutions.
  • Experience with ServiceNow - Onboarding solution is a plus.
  • Proven ability to create & deliver global scale operational plans and to lead complex multi-team groups through complex workflows.
  • Ability to build and manage relationships and collaboration across different levels of the organisation up to and including LG, obtain buy-in, and achieve success in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. 
  • Excellent communication & influence skills combined with a strong ability to navigate in a complex and ambiguous environment.
