Supporting non-English customers in their use of our services, by coordinating the translation of our products and integrations, undertaking quality checks, and following processes to maintain a robust localization practice at Turnitin
Work closely with team members to successfully provide all required localised documentation for our products and integrations
Promote consistency and standards for content collation, formatting and delivery of translated content
In keeping with the market/user needs identified by line manager, create and maintain delivery plans for product documentation in languages other than English
Provide general QA by checking localized content format and layout in our products as well as using current language knowledge, to proof-read non-English content for any product technical inaccuracies
Facilitate new requests for product or legal translations and liaise with our translation vendors over cost and turnaround times
Work with market contacts and internal users of the system to collate feedback and pass on to our translation vendor(s) for future learning
Work with our translation vendors and line manager to address any pain points and consider ways to improve processes relating to translation workflows
Take a leading role in managing the creation and population of localized content pages in MadcapFlare, including the swapping out English screenshots for localized versions
Carry out projects, research and initiatives to support the work of the Product Writing Team, as directed.
- Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience
- Excellent administration skills
- Broad knowledge of online software
- Proficiency in proofreading, writing/verbal communication

Desirable
- Commercial knowledge of the education sector
- Experience working in a customer support role
- Language skills – preferably (but not limited to) German, Spanish, Korean or Japanese
