Purpose

The Junior AI Application Developer is an entry-level position within the TDU AI Tribe, focused on supporting the design, development, and deployment of AI-driven applications. The role contributes to the end-to-end AI development lifecycle—from early-stage research and prototyping to production-ready solutions—working as part of a cross-functional team.

The primary goal is to build innovative AI applications that create business value, while continuously developing technical capabilities and contributing to reusable AI components, patterns, and best practices within TDU.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Support the development of AI-driven applications as part of the TDU AI Tribe team
• Participate in the end-to-end development lifecycle, including: Requirements understanding, Prototyping (R&D phase), Development and testing, Deployment and support
• Contribute to building features such as data retrieval, summarisation, Q&A, automation, and AI-based workflows
• Assist in transitioning solutions from proof-of-concept to production-ready applications
• Work on research and experimentation with new AI technologies and functionalities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data engineers, AI specialists, business stakeholders)
• Support integration with data sources, APIs, and enterprise platforms

YOU WILL SUCEEDD IF YOU fullfil:

Technical Requirements:

• Basic programming knowledge in:
  • Python (preferred) or JavaScript (Node.js)
• Understanding of:
  • REST APIs and system integration
  • Version control (e.g., Git)
• Basic knowledge of:
  • Machine Learning and Generative AI concepts
  • Data handling and SQL
• Familiarity with (nice to have):
  • Cloud platforms (e.g., Azure)
  • Data platforms (e.g., Databricks)
  • AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex)
  • AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot)
• Awareness of:
  • Software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Testing, debugging, and agile methodologies

Salary

1050-1800€/brutto

We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 1150€ /brutto.
