Job Description
For our customers from public sector with delicate projects we are looking for experienced SAP Basis consultants. Maintain the components and functionalities for SAP applications to fulfil customer’s demand. Customize SAP applications to find and fix issues and recover the original functionality. Provide technical and functional support related to specific SAP modules.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Managing certificates and PGP keys, including proactive handling
- Job management, transport landscape, SAP system/RFC connections, SAP support including opening system connections
- Handling SAP incidents (Basis), requesting and managing technical users, exception/emergency processes (e.g. transport approvals, system changes)
- If applicable, administering Web Dispatcher and Cloud Connector, SAP email dispatch, system/profile parameters, maintaining Landscape.xml
- If applicable, managing SAP printers and supporting SAP license measurement
- Issuing developer and object keys
- Supporting SAP application clients
- Acting as the first point of contact for SAP system enquiries
- Serving as the interface to SAP operations
- Managing, configuring, monitoring, reporting, and administering SAP Cloud (BTP)
- Updating/installing third-party SAP add-ons
- Handling transport and change management
- Administering SAP clients, including lifecycle management, SAP installation files, configuration data, testing, coordinating module tests, supporting rollouts, SSO, dependency management, etc.
- Creating and implementing quality assurance measures, maintaining and updating documentation, and developing the operations manual
- Supporting provider management for the SAP data center service provider, monitoring SLA compliance, and assisting with escalations in 2nd level support
- Participating in projects, changes, and the ongoing development of the SAP system landscape (e.g. data center relocations, SOC integration, new systems/services/solutions, SAP system installations, firewall/WAF/routing changes, SAP infrastructure adjustments, etc.)
Qualifications
YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU:
- are certified as an SAP Certified Consultant – SAP S/4HANA System Administration
- have extensive SAP Basis-specific customizing and broad technical expertise, including S/4HANA, both in project and operational contexts, particularly in relation to the tasks listed below; ideally with administrative and configuration experience
- are familiar with operating systems such as Linux and Windows, as well as cloud environments including SAP BTP
- have knowledge of ITSM processes in line with ITIL
- have understanding of DevOps processes
- are proficient in SAP authorization management
- are committed, reliable, and responsible approach to work, coupled with strong communication skills
WHAT SKILLS WILL BE APPRECIATED?
- Contributing to maintenance/system change planning regarding OS and DB release/version upgrades and reactive patches (e.g. security), as well as SAP application maintenance planning, support packages, release upgrades, SAP notes and reactive patches, including dependency analysis, scheduling, communication, change management, smoke testing, and BC testing (SPDD and SPAU)
- Supporting platform/infrastructure topics such as network drives, firewall requests/approvals, identity providers, SSO including HLD/LLD, request forms, and documentation
- Monitoring and system oversight, including optimisation:
- Early Watch Alerts, batch monitoring/job failures, iDOC monitoring, dumps, update terminations, syslog, SAL
- Interfaces, RFC errors, spool issues, email dispatch
- Assisting with performance analysis and identifying optimisation opportunities

Salary
Final salary is negotiable.
We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 1950€ /brutto.
