Job Description

We`re an awesome bunch of people who make up the dream team. Within the project Servicehub Collaboration, we offer tools and services to enhance (virtual) collaboration and a culture of information sharing for Deutsche Telekom employees.  
That’s why we bring together all value streams: from video conferencing, telephony and chat to the Microsoft 365 world and social collaboration in one central hub.  

As one of our application managers you’ll be responsible for several applications in this collaboration environment and help us to coordinate and process security and compliance related activities.
You will be closely working together with the PO(s) of the team, focusing on operational topics.


Application Manager is responsible for the entire life cycle of the application- from the start of operation to the final switch-off: coordinates and steers development and operation, is responsible for compliance with the agreed Service Level Agreements and bears commercial responsibility for budget of the application.


  • Ensuring stability and quality of the functional and technical operation of the applications within your team
  • Keeping documentation of applications up to date in central systems CMBD (configuration management database aka Darwin), application inventory (CAPE)
  • Coordination of SDSK-related activities (privacy and security assessments)
  • Assisting team members with process and compliance related questions
  • Be the contact person for the teams on security-related topics, in particular contact person for data privacy and security champions
  •  Have a clear understanding of compliance topics and requirements
  • Technical and security relevant understanding of processes (ideally of PSA/PSI process)
  • Documentation of risk management (e.g. protection of digital databases and archives against security breaches and data loss) in the relevant tools such as CAPE
  • Analysis of products/services with regard to compliance with security and data protection standards
  • Coordinate communication among various teams involved in application management
  • Maintain quality assurance based on key performance indicators and service level agreements.



•    Ability and willingness to take over responsibility for stability and quality of applications in your responsibility
•    Experience in planning and initiating necessary measures to ensure production stability, availability and safety of the application
•    KnowHow in change management & incident and problem management process (for escalations)
•    Ability to support and drive compliance processes is needed to further develop Collaboration Solutions.
•    Know how in documentation of data protection & security concepts
•    Know How in consulting, support and active implementation of  data protection & security concept procedures
•    Experience in specification and implementation (development/implementation, monitoring of measures) of data privacy and security requirements
•    Proficient in German (due to documentation that is relevant for process with work council) and English language

Final salary is negotiable.

We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 1320 € /brutto.
