Job Description

The main purpose of this job is senior technical expert responsibility for design and implementation of an assigned technology.

In the Digital Hub PRO (FDI), agile teams create, modify and maintain TDG's diagnostic systems and workflow systems in the context of fixed network problem solving in close collaboration with the specialist departments involved in the this cluster.

We run an agile release train more or less according to SAFe with several cross-functional agile scrum teams from different international locations that develop, deliver, and operate software for problem solving (or fault to repair) processes at the heart of Deutsche Telekom.

You can expect a challenging environment, with many active colleagues and with a good, close cooperation across teams, applications, or roles.

We are looking for an experienced front-end architect with very good knowledge of modern, scaled software, especially front-end architectures in different technologies and with the ability to define and explain a meaningful standard across various legacy frontends in accordance with the guidelines of the Telekom IT architecture. And finally, to have it implemented increment wise per demand by the agile teams, even against resistance.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

You will actively participate in the design and weighting of the backlog from portfolio level onwards and represent the front-end standard you have set sustainably and visibly in our release train. In doing so, you will competently advise the teams and stakeholders.
One of your strengths is to familiarize yourself with existing complex software architectures, to use the expertise of your colleagues and to provide a way to standardize the frontends of the release train.

These include in particular:

  • Developing architectural concepts/structures; to this end, devising functional concepts considering holistic business requirements and implications; carrying out technical and functional feasibility studies.
  • You will play a key role in architectural planning and decision-making, ensuring that Mobility Service solution aligns with Deutsche Telekom IT’s strategy and infrastructure.
  • Optimizing and harmonizing the architecture and the design of solutions.
  • Collaboration on architectural runways (architectural vision) and conception of required enablers in consultation with Scrum teams and Client Hub architecture.
  • Identifying innovations in technology fields around mobility services.
  • Assuming responsibility for implementation of architectural concepts

Qualifications

YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU:

are experienced FrontEnd Architect, with development background, have clear sense of operation and maintainability of front-end solutions as well as a penchant for agility.

Your experience as well as your assignment will have to focus on:

  • Good knowledge of frontend architecture patterns and guidelines
  • Defining and supporting the transition/slicing from monolithically into modern cloud based micro frontend architecture
  • Caring about nonfunctional requirements like stability, resilience, reusability, etc.
  • CI/CD
  • Technologies:
    • Single-spa
    • Vue.js
    • React
    • PrimeVue
    • SSE pattern with Redis database for asynchronous callbacks to the BFF

Salary

Final salary is negotiable.

We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will vary and will not be lower than 2050 - 3100 € /brutto.
