In the role of Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will be serving as a technical lead within QA area, overseeing software testing and product quality. You’ll develop test strategies, create test documents, identify faults, and review QA reports. You’ll evaluate test automation tools and lead the transition from manual to automated testing. You’ll build test automation frameworks, provide QA support, and define/update quality standards.

You’ll set up CI/CD pipelines and lead the entire QA process on multiple projects. You’ll ensure released products meet quality standards, stay updated on processes and technologies, and maintain a high degree of quality. You’ll possess knowledge of DevOps and agile frameworks.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

You will be developing scripts for Load and Performance Test Automation.

  • Contribute to integrating automated tests in the testing process.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate test automation tools and technology.
  • Identify and improve quality assurance process bottlenecks.
  • Design and develop automation solutions for business needs (non-functional tests).
  • Transition from manual to automated testing and explore new automation use cases.
  • Document automated processes (test plans, procedures, cases) and participate in technical reviews.
  • Create automated solutions for test reporting and metrics collection.
  • Identify key KPIs for product quality.
  • Maintain automation code quality and CI/CD test pipeline.
  • Create automation scripts for CI/CD integration.

Qualifications

YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU:

Speak English at least at the B2 level. Speaking German is your advantage.

Your Core skills should be:

  • Active knowledge of least one object-oriented programming language > JAVA, Python.
  • Active work in agile development (SCRUM & SAFe).
  • API Test automation solutions - Understanding of SOAP, REST and MQ.
  • Good technical IT knowledge (HW monitoring, cloud architectures, etc. e.g. Kibana, Grafana.
  • Experience with Allure, Xray.
  • Experience in using Gradle, Git, JIRA.
  • CI/CD - creation of Gitlab / Jenkins pipelines.
  • Knowledge of principles of containerization (Docker, Docker Compose).
  • Very good knowledge of a load testing tool (Loadrunner, JMeter, Gatling, etc.) is necessary.
  • Previous role in / responsibility for creating modern test automation architecture / strategy and responsibility for delivery of test automation and its results to contribute to assurance of product quality (focus on non-functional test automation solutions).
  • Hands-on experience of creating test solution from scratch.
    Wide knowledge of test frameworks and tools.

It is nice to have:

  • Knowledge of cloud services > preferable AWS, GCP, Azure.
  • Frontend and Backend Test Automation experience.
  • Experience with using AI in testing.

Salary

Final salary is negotiable.

We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 2300 € /brutto.
