Purpose

As the Cloud Migration Architect - Oracle, you will be executing the migration & transformation strategy for our customers as part of an agile migration team. Among your main responsibilities will be performing analysis of current setup and following that, definition of requirements, design and configuration on VMware platform including HA and DR Setups. On-Premises > Cloud and Cloud > Cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP, vmWare), utilizing the most efficient tools available.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

You will...

• Analyze current setup and following that, definition of requirements
• Oracle design and configuration on VMware platform including HA and DR Setups
• Oracle DB migration strategies and approaches
• Oracle migration solution design on VMware
• Migration support and troubleshooting
• additionally, but not must-have transformation Oracle to Azure PaaS services
• work in highly dynamic, international environment and with customer representatives in the team, while serving as the technology expert
• collaborate with T-systems partners such as VMware, Microsoft and others
• participate in the roadmap implementation and feedback to the product team
• directly communicate with end customers to discuss possibilities of migration, transformation and their optimal designs

YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU:

• have 2+ years of relevant work experience with public cloud technologies (preferably VMware + Azure)
• are Expert in Oracle
• understand the migration concepts and migration tooling
• understand the Infrastructure as Code and automation possibilities (Terraform, ARM templates, Ansible, SaltStack)
• have some experience with Agile tooling and processes (Jira, Kanban, Scrum methodology)
• have experience with Scripting (Bash, Python)
• have experience with Ansible / Terraform / Puppet 
• Communication and presentation skills
• General ICT skills (Network, OS, Storage, Database etc.)
• speak English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Salary

Final salary is negotiable.

We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 2500€ /brutto.
