The goal of the PRISMA project is to replace the current outdated PUMA software, which is based on SAS and Oracle code, by Q2/2024. The project is divided into three main parts:

Part 1: Final reverse engineering of SAS Code via PySpark for input/output tables (ongoing via 3rd party IBM).

Part 2: Data engineering for additional enrichment of output tables based on old SAS and Oracle code.

Part 3: Front-end development using Kibana and ElasticSearch.

The new software will be implemented based on PySpark Scripts in the DNAMITS/SMOPS platform, incorporating development rules and GIT.

What WILL YOU DO?

In your role as a Data Scientist on the PRISMA project, you will:

1. Perform Data Engineering: Your primary responsibility will be to perform data engineering tasks, working with data from old SAS and Oracle code to enhance output tables.

2. Utilize PySpark: You'll use PySpark, a Python library for big data processing, to implement data engineering solutions efficiently.

3. Follow Requirements Packages: Develop solutions in alignment with the provided "requirements packages," ensuring that data enrichment meets project specifications.

4. Collaborate Effectively: Work closely with team members and coordinate with the local German MRF-T team to achieve project objectives.

5. Thorough Testing: Test the solutions rigorously to ensure data quality and accuracy, playing a crucial role in the final approval process.

6. Drive Business Impact: Your work directly contributes to the success of the PRISMA project, which, in turn, is vital for the overall success of the business. This includes milestones for Mobile rollout and network modernization.

Your contributions as a Data Scientist will be pivotal in modernizing the existing software infrastructure and achieving the project's goals, ultimately benefiting the business.

Salary

Final salary is negotiable.

We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 2000 € /brutto.
