Our brand Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Slovakia entered the life of Košice region in 2006 under the name of T-Systems Slovakia and ever since has been inextricably linked with the region when became one of the founding members of Košice IT Valley. We have managed to grow from scratch to the second largest employer in the eastern part of the country with more than 3900 employees. Our goal is to proactively find new ways to improve and continuously transform into the type of company providing innovative information and communication technology services.

Business owner IT (BO IT) is a key business and technical leader responsible for managing governance, compliance, and return on investment (ROI) for a Solution developed by an Agile Release Train (ART). The ultimate goal of the BO IT is to align business needs with the IT development and operation processes of large scale IT solutions.

Data mission

Within Telekom Deutschland we, the data canvas of Deutsche Telekom IT GmbH, are providing all services around data and analytics. These are based on more than ten Enterprise DWHs, our data lake, various ETL-platforms, a central ingest layer, a central data catalog, multiple analytics and report platforms and all the other ingredients you would expect in a large scale enterprise environment that has been grown over decades.

Coming from an on-prem environment, we started our journey towards a cloud based data mesh approach. Transforming and migrating our platforms into the cloud.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• You will be the key manager who guides the ART to the appropriate outcomes.
• Provide input to backlog refinement activities in order to align the business and IT needs.
• Understand and help specify that business objectives are comprehended and agreed to by key stakeholders.
• Prepare the communication of the business context, including Milestones and significant external dependencies.
• Support key activities, including the presentation of vision, draft plan review, assigning business value to Program Increment (PI) objectives, and approving final plans

YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU:

Have the following experience:

• More than 5 years of management experience in Data / Analytics environments and in leading large teams (>100 FTE).
• More than 5 years of hand-on development / maintenance experience in Data / Analytics environments
• Have more than 2 years of experience in cloud analytic solutions (google, aws)
• More than 3 years of experience in agile environments, Full SAFe welcome
• Transformation of existing DWHs and/or of Data Lake (technically, organizationally)
• Transformation of large delivery units.
• Operational excellence required.
• Management skills ( budgets, KPIs, skills, etc.)
• Communication & presentation skills on SVP-level
• Servant Leadership
• Agile Mindset
• Telco experience welcome

Hold the following IT Technical Skills:

• General IT Overview – Advanced
• Software Develoment - Intermediate

Have the following Finance Skills:

• Accounting - Basic

You should also have:

• Ability to provide feedback clearly and in constructive manner  
• Ability to identify the added value for customer
• Target orientation          
• Customer orientation    

Speak English at least at the B2 level. Speaking German is your advantage.

Salary

Final salary is negotiable.

We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 2300 € /brutto.
