Suitable candidate will work on projects that require design extensions for NGMA. This may be related to extensions of the current design in order to improve the network stability or to current and new projects like ORAN, Ipv6, SRv6, Backhaul sharing, Streaming Telemetry, introduction of new network software.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• You will propose and perform regular inspections and improvement recommendations.
• Diagnose and resolve complex tickets or escalate complex tickets with direct/potential impact related to IT infrastructure.
• Evaluate, authorize, prioritize, plan, test, implement, document and review complex changes in controlled manner or escalate to higher authority.
• Assess actual performance of IT infrastructure against its predicted performance. Any deviations between the two should be understood and proactively remediated, with vendors if necessary.
• Serve as technical lead to provide clear and comprehensive release and deployment plans and to assure delivery of the service in critical situations.
• Deliver effective training plans and concepts to train other employees and ensure their fulfillment.
• Implement new technologies/services or upgrades to existing technologies.

YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU:

• Speak English at least on upper intermediate (B2) level. German language is an advantage.
• Have professional experience of at least 6 years in the field and have master´s degree in information technologies.
• It's mandatory to have experience with programming in Python, Jenkins
• Have professional experience with service provider networks and router configurations (especially Cisco IOS XR), Segment Routing, Segment routing v6, MPLS, ISIS, BGP, MPLS and Segment routing, VPNs, QoS and BFD.
• Are experienced in Netconf/yang + Streaming telemetry, network troubleshooting and have basic knowledge of mobile networks including 2G, 4G, 5G.
• Are advanced at soft skills necessary for the role of Medior Network Engineer such as ability to learn quickly, analytical thinking, team cooperation and communication.

While not necessary, you can also succeed if you have Cisco CCNP Service provider and Cisco Devnet Professional certification, or your knowledge level is in accordance with Cisco CCNP Service provider.

Salary

Final salary is negotiable.

We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 1850 € /brutto.
