In the department of 'Customer Experience' we are responsible for keeping the quality of our mobile network throughout Germany at the highest level. For the monitoring of the network's performance, we introduce a new tool - MICA 2.0. New interfaces, data connections and agreements with the supplier must be created to this tool. Afterwards, you will create optimal use of the existing data to proactively find problems in our mobile service chains, analyze the causes and support colleagues.

Main purpose of your job as Data scientist is conducting statistical analyses with support of machine learning techniques and supports integration of results from analyses into existing solutions and business processes (determination of trends, patterns, prediction models).

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• You will do automated provision of various data sets.
• Develop data analytics/big data solutions for mobile services end-to-end.
• Create interfaces and data connections.
• Use machine learning/data analytic techniques to integrate results from analyses into existing solutions and business processes.
• Develop innovative and data-driven solutions that provide tangible added value for our customers.
• Developing and implementation of automation concepts.

YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU:

• Speak English at least on B2 level. German is reviewed as your advantage.
• Have minimum of 2 years’ experience in Data analytics, data science.
• Are advanced in Hadoop (YARN, HDFS, HUE, Oozie Scheduling).
• Have professional experiences in advanced analytics, machine learning or AI.
• Have professional experiences with Python, Linux-Shell, Git (gitlab, CI/CD), user experience with Docker.
• Have experience with PySpark which is an advantage.
• Have completed secondary education, have basic understanding in information technologies, general IT overview and MS Office on an intermediate level.

Salary

Final salary is negotiable.

We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 2000 € /brutto.
