Purpose

As a storage engineer, you are responsible for the operation of our customer's NAS/SAN storage systems. Your tasks include:

• Planning, conception and implementation of commissioning and operation of the complex storage systems

• Processing / execution of complex orders

• Participation in the creation of decision templates and concepts

• Install and maintain tools

• Design and implementation of supporting tools

• Development and planning of service concepts

• Control of order processing

• Ensuring the agreed service level

• Creation of documentation

Education

• Master's or diploma degree with adequate professional experience or comparable knowledge and skills (completed training as an IT system electronics technician, IT specialist for system integration, information electronics technician, computer scientist, business IT specialist or similar)

Experience

• Min. 2 years of relevant experience in IT administration of NAS/SAN storage systems OR
• Practical experience in the administration of the respective storage services: SAN Storage: Brocade - DCX, EMC - VNX / VS6, Huawei - Oceanstor / Dorado, NetApp - E-Series; NAS / Object Storage: NetApp - FAS / AFF / Ontap-Select, EMC - DD2200 / DD3300, NetApp - StorageGRID Webscale

IT Technical Skills

• Knowledge of the respective manufacturer tools for administering the manufacturer systems

Salary

Final salary is negotiable.

We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 2000 € /gross.
