You will perform, coordinate and improve most complex activities (3rd level environment) needed to provide IT services and the supporting infrastructure in order to fulfill relevant KPI’s. Plan, implement and maintain a stable technical infrastructure to support organization’s business processes. Identify weaknesses in used processes and eliminate them following industry and internal standards.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• As a senior storage engineer, you are expected to support the entire lifecycle of customer’s NAS/SAN infrastructure, from the very first day the appliance enters the data center to the day you wave it goodbye as it is loaded on truck

• You must be ready to grow and adapt to the customer’s business needs because we are directly responsible for customer’s success. As such, the infrastructure is in constant state of flux, however, it currently consists mainly of Netapp FAS/AFF systems, Huawei OceanStor Dorado and EMC Isilon clusters in both NAS and SAN flavours

• Patch and release management, independently draft (and implement) a patch release calendar striking balance between availability, environment hardening and new features

• You will plan, deploy, and support of customer’s infrastructure

• You will represent the customer on the dealings  vendors

• Automize of daily tasks

• Capacity management, ordering and infrastructure lifecycle

• Security management, independently harden the environment against known vulnerabilities

• Patch and release management, independently draft (and implement) a patch release calendar striking balance between availability, environment hardening and new features

YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU:

• A Jack of all trades, a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one:

• Speak German at least on B2 level

• Familiar with NAS/SAN - Netapp FAS/AFF/C-Series/E-Series systems, Huawei OceanStor Dorado and EMC Isilon clusters

• Object storage (StorageGRID)

• All underlying infrastructure – Brocade and Cisco switches, ATTO bridges, Apache repositories, various 3rd party tools

• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Kubernetes, Netapp FSx)

• Have knowledge at DevOps tools and scripting languages (Python, Ansible)

Salary

Final salary is negotiable.

We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 1850€ /brutto.
