    Job Description

    Department

    This position is filled in the IoT Digital team of Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Hungary. The team consists of IT professionals working on IoT, and data intelligence solution implementation projects.

    Project

    Your future project will be in the mobility industry. Together with our partners, we are developing intelligent electronic tolling solutions for our international customers. We use digital intelligence for a smart service that connects Europe. Using sophisticated technology and our toll box, we are creating a new age of seamless mobility. Our aims is to further develop the currently available services and extend it to further domains. Together with the T-Systems International team members, you will join an international team supporting our customers by providing tolling solutions.

    Main tasks

    As a Full Stack Developer, you will:

    • Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications and backend services.
    • Implement frontend and backend features using modern development frameworks and technologies.
    • Develop and integrate REST/SOAP APIs and external services.
    • Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
    • Work with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native technologies.
    • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from design to production support.
    • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects, DevOps Engineers, QA Engineers, and business stakeholders.
    • Contribute to operational excellence following DevOps principles.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve complex application and production issues.
    • Drive continuous improvement of software quality, performance, and security.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in software development.
    • Strong Java development skills.
    • Experience with frontend technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and modern web frameworks.
    • Knowledge of API technologies including REST, SOAP, and JSON.
    • Experience with frameworks such as Spring Boot, Apache Wicket, Bootstrap, or similar technologies.
    • Hands-on experience with Git, Maven, and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins).
    • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
    • Understanding of software quality principles, Clean Code, automated testing, and TDD.
    • Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
    • Excellent English communication skills.
    • Team player with the ability to work effectively in an international environment.

    Advantages

    • Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
    • Knowledge of Helm, Artifactory, or infrastructure automation.
    • Experience in a SAFe environment.
    • Knowledge of the Apache Wicket component model.
    • Experience in mobility, transportation, or tolling solutions.
    • German language skills.
