    As an SAP Enterprise Architect, you will support the definition and execution of the future ERP strategy and ERP target picture for T-Systems.

    You will act as a senior expert within the ERP transformation environment, helping evaluate, consolidate, integrate, and optimize complex SAP landscapes across multiple enterprise platforms. Your focus will be on translating business requirements into scalable enterprise architecture decisions and shaping a sustainable ERP target picture for T-Systems.

    You will work closely with Finance, IT, Enterprise Architecture, and transformation teams to ensure that SAP capabilities, business processes, and platform strategies are aligned with the long-term ERP target landscape and deliver measurable business value.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support the development and evolution of the ERP target picture and ERP strategy for T-Systems
    • Evaluate and assess complex SAP system landscapes with focus on consolidation, integration, harmonization, and retirement decisions
    • Support the definition of the future ERP target architecture and operational target landscape for T-Systems
    • Translate business requirements and strategic transformation goals into scalable SAP architecture concepts and implementation roadmaps
    • Support the global process standardization of the Finance organization across SAP-based enterprise platforms
    • Analyze and assess finance-related SAP systems and processes (Accounting systems, Billing systems, Master Data Management platforms, cross-functional FC processes)
    • Derive and structure architecture-driven backlogs for finance transformation initiatives and target architecture implementation
    • Map business capabilities to SAP platforms and align business requirements, process models, and enterprise applications
    • Support architectural decision-making across key SAP platforms
    • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to standardize and harmonize enterprise processes across SAP environments
    • Support SAP S/4HANA transformation initiatives and evaluate future-fit architecture scenarios for the T-Systems ERP landscape
    • Contribute to architecture documentation, capability mapping, and process modeling activities using enterprise architecture methodologies and tools
    • Operationalize architecture strategy elements into actionable implementation initiatives and transformation measures

    Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
    • Minimum of 6 years of experience in SAP environments within large enterprises or internationally operating organizations
    • Strong SAP expertise with hands-on experience especially in SAP FI/CO, PS, SD, MM
    • Experience in evaluating, designing, and integrating complex SAP landscapes
    • Experience in SAP Enterprise Architecture, ERP target picture definition, and transformation programs
    • Experience in gathering requirements from business stakeholders and translating business requirements into technical architecture concepts
    • Experience in backlog management as well as structuring and prioritizing transformation requirements
    • Strong understanding of finance and ERP processes, especially in Accounting, Billing, Intercompany, and Master Data Management
    • Experience with architecture and transformation methodologies and tools (TOGAF, LeanIX, Capability Mapping, Signavio)
    • Experience with SAP S/4HANA transformations and hybrid SAP landscapes
    • Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented working style
    • Ability to operationalize strategic architecture concepts and translate them into concrete implementation initiatives
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
    • Fluent in English (written and spoken); German is a plus
