About the Role

The AI Foundation Services team designs and builds high-performance backend systems and APIs that power intelligent applications across diverse industries. We are seeking a highly skilled Python Developer to architect and maintain secure, scalable systems capable of handling millions of requests.

Key Responsibilities

• System Design: Design, implement, and optimize APIs and backend systems using Python frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Scalability: Build and maintain fault-tolerant microservices for data processing and AI integration.
• Performance: Identify bottlenecks and drive improvements in reliability, scalability, and latency.
• Operations: Implement robust CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and observability for high-performance production systems.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system architecture and ensure best practices for security and compliance.

• Experience: 5+ years of experience developing backend systems, focusing on API design and high-scale production environments.
• Technical Stack: Strong proficiency in Python (including asynchronous programming) and experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containers (Docker, K8s).
• API Expertise: Proven experience designing and maintaining REST APIs, including websockets and webhooks.
• Data Knowledge: Solid understanding of distributed systems, data pipelines, and database design (SQL, ORMs).
• Language: Fluent in English (written and verbal).

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with generative AI, LLMs, RAG workflows, or vector databases.
• Experience with high-throughput/real-time systems (message queues, event-driven architecture).

Knowledge of modern DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code.
