We are the central data product management team for DT Sales & Service, working in a virtual structure with Telekom IT and TDG to deliver modern BI and big data solutions.

To reduce IT landscape complexity, we analyze and model business processes and technical solutions. Together with our architecture partners, we define target visions for business data products, design technical data solutions, and develop a roadmap for simplification within established guardrails.

We are also redefining the software development process with model-driven design (“forward engineering”) and DevOps principles to enable closer collaboration between Tel-IT and Service-IT and foster innovation through reduced complexity.

Tasks:

• Analysis of business processes across the entire service reporting environment
• Conducting interviews with business users (mostly German-speaking) and data engineers
• Reviewing and understanding the content of existing reports (>500) and established KPIs
• Developing suitable business models that describe the processes, information flows, and data products as well as their relationships
• Visualizing data flows in the technical solutions at a business level
• Description of data products and their value for the service organization
