Job Description


To strengthen our team, we are looking for a dedicated Test Engineer Trainee who will thoroughly test our applications to ensure the highest quality.

  • Building, further developing, optimizing, and maintaining the test automation of an Online Counting & Charging Application, the Product Price Service and Customer Bill Management (TMF678).
  • Creating test cases and test reports, including checking the software for functionality and security.
  • Analyzing and documenting errors as well as closely collaborating with developers for troubleshooting.
  • Supporting all phases of the development process – from requirements analysis through implementation and documentation to quality assurance.

 

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of common testing methods, tools, and frameworks
  • Ability to describe and execute any test scenarios
  • Language skills: English (German is helpful)
  • Full -time active student (under age of 25 can be also passive)
  • Commitment of at least 120 hours of work per month

Additional Information

The Digital Hub Mass Market provides services for the business capability "Providing Invoice" within the Billing Domain. We operate the billing chains for fixed-line and mobile services as well as for mobile service providers. We ensure high-quality invoice provision for our customers. We are responsible for the customer experience of these billing chains and continuously develop them in coordination with other billing chains (e.g., Magenta Home) to reduce invoice-related customer contacts, among other things. We provide central rating, billing, and bill presentation services across the company to ensure correct and flexibly adaptable billing. We are consolidating the billing functionalities for fixed-line and mobile services into a single billing chain according to the Future Billing target image. To achieve this, we are modernizing our system landscape and gradually phasing out legacy systems. The Digital Hub Mass Market encompasses the design, development, integration, and operation (both functional and technical) as well as the responsibility for the consolidation of processes and systems of the billing chains for fixed-line, mobile, and mobile service providers.
