As a Senior DevOps Engineer you will be part of our team that builds the next generation of Workforce Management for the entire Deutsche Telekom Technology domain, with the goal to digitize and optimize existing field service processes.

We are replacing our legacy Workforce management system that orchestrated our work order flow with a highly scalable and flexible, Camunda based system that will transform complex business processes into seamless customer and employee experiences for our global businesses.

Your task will be to:

• Build and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure environment on AWS using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
• Oversee the deployment, configuration, and management of clusters
• CI/CD Pipeline Development: designing and managing CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, Close collaboration with development teams (Continuous Improvement)
• Maintan and adjust monitoring and logging solutions to ensure the health and performance of applications and infrastructure.
• Ensure that security best practices are followed, including managing access controls, vulnerability management, and compliance requirements
• Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and consistency across deployments and operations
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration and operation of application
• If needed mentor junior DevOps engineers and provide guidance on best practices
• Ensuring application stability (Prod QA) - technical E2E Incident analyses/troubleshooting, cooperate on root cause analysis, troubleshooting & Ops Support

Hard Skills:

• Hands-on experience with designing, developing, deploying and operating one of the cloud platforms, preferably AWS as that is being used on this project
• Configuration management with Terraform
• Experience with Microservice architectures and Rest interfaces
• Version controlling, code merging & CI/ CD workflows and tools with gitlab, automation
• Monitoring and adjustments of automated system health checks, 
• Familiar with monitoring and logging tools as : Prometheus, Grafana, Graylog, Cloudwatcher, Elasticsearch, Kibana
• Be familiar with DevOps and Modern engineering practices
• Experience with a modern language such as Java, Python, or Node.js, including cloud solution design patterns (microservices, messaging, containers, IAM etc.)
• Language: English (B2)
