Job Description

We are seeking exceptional senior Java Software Engineers to join our world-class community of talented developers. As a Software Engineer at Telekom IT, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, testing, and deploying services that operate at scale and ensure enterprise-level reliability. Collaboration is at the heart of our work environment, and you will collaborate closely with various engineering and cross-functional teams to tackle intricate technical challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Support Architects in updating product development, integrating new technologies, and implementing new features.
• Participate actively in technical design, development, and code reviews, ensuring the delivery of high-quality code and comprehensive technical documentation.
• Engage in an agile team environment, adhering to agile methodologies.

Advantages (Preferred):

• Proficiency in Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP
• Knowledge of REST, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, Spring Framework, Microservices, CI/CD, HTML, etc.
• Experience with Spring Boot 2, Spring Cloud, Hibernate, JPA, JMS, Relational databases, etc.

• Proficiency in Java programming language / Minimum of 5 years of experience
• Strong team player with exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Scrum practices, and Clean Code principles.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with databases (Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
• Experience in agile software development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, SaFe).
• Strong German and English language knowledge are must haves to fulfill the position.
