Job Description
We are looking for a talented and versatile DevSecOps Engineer to join our team dedicated to a cutting-edge Dataspace project. As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the end-to-end CI/CD pipeline. Collaboration with developers, QA engineers, and a focus on security best practices are key aspects of this role. Responsibilities:
- CI/CD Pipeline Creation: Design, build, and manage the entire CI/CD pipeline, ensuring seamless integration of backend and frontend components within the Dataspace project.
- Collaboration with Developers: Work closely with developers to understand application requirements, provide support for integration into the CI/CD pipeline, and facilitate the adoption of DevOps best practices.
- QA Collaboration: Collaborate with QA engineers to integrate comprehensive testing strategies into the CI/CD pipeline, including automation and security testing.
- Security Integration: Implement security measures throughout the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring the secure delivery of software and adherence to industry best practices.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles using tools like Terraform or Ansible for efficient and reproducible infrastructure setups.
- Containerization: Utilize containerization technologies such as Docker for packaging applications and Kubernetes for container orchestration within the Dataspace project.
- Monitoring and Logging: Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure the health and performance of the CI/CD pipeline and deployed applications.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in the CI/CD pipeline and development processes, and implement enhancements to optimize efficiency.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for CI/CD pipeline configurations, infrastructure setups, and security measures.
- Cloud Computing Experience: Advantageous to have experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and understanding their integration into CI/CD workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a DevOps or DevSecOps Engineer, with a focus on CI/CD pipeline creation.
- Strong understanding of Dataspace technologies and their integration into CI/CD workflows.
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Travis CI.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, considered advantageous.
- Knowledge of security best practices in CI/CD pipelines and application development.
