We accompany our customers both in individual projects and through in-house developments.

In projects we support in all phases: Architecture Consulting, Data Engineering, Data Science and DevOps or MLOps. In-house developments, such as the AI Solution Factory, make it possible to provide machine learning applications in higher quality, shorter time and lower costs.

We work customer-oriented with an application focus. Accordingly, we develop on AWS, Azure or the Open Telekom Cloud and advise on what suits our customers. The applications range from computer vision for visual quality monitoring, timeseries forecasting in public transport or natural language processing for the automated assignment of mails.

As a "Senior Python Developer (m/f/d)" you develop software artifacts for machine learning applications. You optimize code quality and implement software engineering best practices for our AI projects. You work in multinational teams with various skills.

In our team, you will take on the following responsibilities:

• Realization of customer projects from proof of concept to transfer to operation through DevOps or MLOps
• Implementation of software best practices, especially in fields like model training, deployments, data pipelines
• Taking over responsibility for code quality and reusability of implementations
• Conception of technical solutions based on customer-specific requirements in the project

You are experienced in software engineering and you can guide others. With drive and personal initiative, you tackle new challenges in the team and drive existing projects forward based on your own experience. You like customer-centric work and understanding technical requirements for real-world problems. Your skills, which you have acquired in several years of practical experience, are:

• 3+ years of project experience in software engineering, e.g. object-oriented programming, implementation of clean code, DevOps, CI/CD
• 2+ years of experience in Python development and the library ecosystem
• Good knowledge in: containers, REST, software architecture
• Practical experience with working in agile software projects
• Basic understanding of concepts in data engineering, e.g. feature engineering, data bases, data modeling
• Basic understanding of concepts in machine learning and AI, e.g. in areas like computer vision, natural language processing (NLP) or predictive analytics

An additional benefit would be:

• Basic understanding in Kubernetes, Message Queuing (e.g. Kafka)
• Basic understanding in cloud solutions
