Job Description

Dear applicants, please understand this is an onsite JOB. We need someone to be in our Harrison NJ office 5 days a week.

What You’ll Do…

  • Lead and inspire a high-performing team while overseeing day-to-day recruiting operations and individual req load. Report on key team recruiting metrics to executive management.
  • Actively pursue new clients, maintain existing clients, and build client relations.
  • Conduct meetings with client IT hiring managers to understand current openings and prioritize key requirements
  • Proactively source, network, screen, and qualify candidates to present to hiring managers while ensuring a diverse candidate pool
  • Analyze market data to make recommendations to hiring managers on the most effective recruiting strategies
  • Manage and promote the DEREX brand through internal and external job sites, social media, and professional associations
  • Schedule and conduct comprehensive interviews to achieve hiring goals
  • Deliver a superior candidate experience by providing excellent communication and timely follow-up regarding their current status within the search
  • Update candidate records and job postings in the applicant tracking system in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years’ experience in a full life cycle recruiter/lead role, focused on hiring IT professionals
  • Proven ability and desire to effectively lead and inspire a team while overseeing day-to-day recruiting operations and individual req load
  • Passion and proven track record for developing strong and diverse candidate pipelines by using a multi-pronged approach to IT sourcing
  • Experience leveraging technology to manage workflow, improve processes, and the ability to use data/metrics to diagnose and improve team performance
  • Advanced experience with social media and recruiting sourcing tools
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously and with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to work effectively with a variety of different people at all levels within the organization
  • Self-starter who approaches challenges with emotional intelligence and strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with applicant tracking software systems and analytics tools
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, including Excel and Outlook
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required.
