Job Description

Purpose of the job:

To drive business growth by unlocking the client’s business opportunity and to deliver outstanding client service, innovative and ambitious client solutions.


Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Managing the account/s professionally which involved developing brand strategies and controlling clients' advertising budget;
  • To maintain professionalism at all times when dealing with client/(s) and all third parties;
  • To assist your supervisor/(s) with update of work-in progress, follow-up on assignments;
  • To execute and oversee all events and promotions at ground level concerning the account/(s) assigned to you;
  • To execute and prepare all matters relating to cost estimates and invoicing of client/(s) with the aim of maximizing the profitability of the agency;
  • To give overall support to your colleague/(s) working on the same account/(s) assigned to you in areas that can help in business growth;
  • To oversee and manage the account or group of accounts assigned to you;
  • To present the management with update on the state of your assignment and to alert the management on potential problems relating to the account/s under your charge;
  • To be able to present all major briefings and presentations, leading your group (if required);
  • To lead and manage the tasks of the day-to-day running of the business, including research, competitive findings, market research and media insights;
  • Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you from time to time.

Qualifications

  • At least Diploma from related discipline;
  • Good all round client knowledge and at least 3 years of sector experience;
  • Excellent command of English, both spoken and written. Japanese language is an added advantage;
  • Applicant must be willing to work at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
