Job Description
We are looking for someone able to:
- Design and develop clean, high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code to meet application needs;
- Architect and build service-oriented solutions;
- Integrate applications with enterprise systems through industry-standard integration technologies and best practices;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, propose strategic solutions, and lead optimization and improvement efforts across the organization;
- Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence within the team;
- Conduct and lead code reviews, ensuring code quality, adherence to best practices, and recommending performance optimizations;
- Implement prototypes, proof of concepts, and production-ready software solutions while ensuring the scalability and robustness of services;
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues while ensuring timely and effective solutions are applied;
- Design and optimize SQL and NoSQL databases, ensuring efficient data retrieval and manipulation strategies;
- Develop and optimize scalable RESTful APIs for seamless integration and performance;
- Implement automated testing frameworks to ensure high-quality code and reliable software deployments;
- Monitor and improve system performance through effective use of performance monitoring tools and proactive measures;
- Evaluate and adopt new technologies and frameworks, driving innovation in system architecture and development processes;
- Ensure compliance with coding standards, security guidelines, and best practices, and act as a key driver for their adoption within the team.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional Python development experience;
- Extensive experience with microservices architecture and scalable system design;
- Expertise with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes;
- Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and development;
- Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB), including performance tuning;
- Proficient in DevOps practices, including CI/CD automation, and tools like Jenkins, Poetry, or Pipenv;
- Knowledge of Istio, Envoy, or Dapr is a plus;
- Proficient in Git, including branching strategies and code review best practices;
- Strong understanding of application design patterns and software architecture principles;
- Experience working in Agile environments with a focus on collaboration and continuous delivery;
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach;
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior developers;
- Degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience;
- Fluent in English.
