Job Description
As an Account Coordinator, you will be an integral member of the Accounts team by providing support and assistance in managing the business and ensuring that day to day activities run smoothly. The Account Coordinator will be supporting the development and execution of automotive retail content and sets the tone for how the account is managed by assuring focus on key client production objectives and actively supports senior Account team leads.
Responsibilities:
Supporting Account leads:
- Day-to-Day Project Planning and Finance: Initiate development of Project IDs, manages pre-billing and monthly billing coordination with finance teams, builds, tracks and secures approvals to project estimates
- Contact Reports: record keeping of key meeting discussions and next steps
Project Coordination:
- Works with production lead to help establish timelines based on campaign/project needs and liaise with creative teams and internal resources to ensure that projects are running smoothly, and on time
- Assist in ensuring all internal teams have all necessary information, materials and elements in a timely manner (eg. copydecks, deliverables list)
- Supports in the delivery of client feedback to internal teams. Updates and distributes documents as needed
Admin:
- Coordinates and schedules meetings and responsible for weekly status report upkeep.
- Coordination and execution of general/miscellaneous request related to the daily management of the account
Client and Agency Partner Management:
- Builds trusting, collaborative relationships with clients at appropriate levels.
- Tracks, files, and reviews competitive activity. Alerts both internal and Client teams of any notables
- Fostering positive working relationships between internal teams
- Performs other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications
- University or College degree (concentrations in Arts, Social Sciences, Business, Communications is preferred but not required)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable working independently with strong organizational and prioritization skills; Quick learner and detail oriented
- Proficient using Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Proactive and positive approach to account management
- Thrives on multi-tasking and detail oriented
- Team player and eager to support those around them to help with the overall betterment of the team
- Highly adaptable and able to perform in a dynamic and fast paced environment
- A strong motivation to learn and open to feedback on work
- Resourcefulness in getting the answers you need from the information you have access to
- Passion for marketing and advertising
- Automotive related experience is an asset but not mandatory
Additional Information
The salary range for this position is $45k-$55k. Actual salary within the salary range will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, and skills. A range of medical, dental, RRSP, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available to all permanent employees.
