Job Description

The Vice President, Analytics role is managerial, but also one of agency leadership, to manage the processes and people responsible for accurate data collection, processing, modeling, and analysis. Working closely with the media teams to ensure that the right measurement strategies and "test and learn" plans are in place; responsible for the quality and timeliness of work being delivered to our client. You will report to the SVP, Analytics.

As the VP, Analytics, you will have experience identifying solutions in sprawling data sets and has the business mindset to convert insights into strategic opportunities for our client. You will work with leaders across media teams, external research parties, technology teams, and local markets to support and implement high-quality, data-driven decisions. They will ensure data accuracy and reporting by designing and creating optimal processes for the analytics team to follow. Also working with the Data Science team to interpret output from advanced data modeling, predictive modeling, and analytical techniques from media data and use these insights into plans to support our client's outcomes.

You will be a collaborator who is experienced working across complex pieces of business. You are required to have experience building relationships with both our teams and clients. You will navigate and understand the client's culture, business goals, and media strategy, and will have an appetite for innovation.

Qualifications

  • You will be responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of all reporting-related team deliverables
  • You will set the vision for measurement and analytics across the line of business for which you are responsible
  • You will support the client "test and learn" philosophy for measurement
  • You will examine and report results of initiatives to stakeholders in leadership
  • You will contribute and advise on staffing and hiring plans & develop team members
  • You will have at least 10 years of experience in analytics with expertise in digital media and 3+ years of experience leading a team, including thought leadership
  • You will have a Bachelor's Degree with a background in mathematics, statistics, economics or related field
  • You will have a working knowledge of data mining principles: predictive analytics, mapping, collecting data from multiple data systems on premises, and cloud-based data sources
  • You will have experience using analytical and statistical techniques: hypothesis development, designing tests/experiments, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and developing applicable recommendations for lines of business
  • You will have a background in managing, manipulating, and drawing insights from data
  • You will have client-facing experience within media agencies and publishers desired
  • You will be a part of Center of Excellence team which proactively provides up to date marketing methodologies focused within measurement and reporting
  • You will have experience with Ad Tech platforms such as DoubleClick (DBM, DCM), Adobe (Analytics, AMO, AAM), Marin, and Prisma is preferred
  • You will know how to work with visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
  • You will have experience with SQL & Python for data management and reporting automation

Additional Information

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $163,000-$263,350. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law. Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. The company's incentive compensation plan is subject to change.
