Job Description

Merkury, Dentsu’s global identity and data platform and a pioneer in the industry of enterprise person-based identity and data products that promote total experience and personalization at scale is looking for a Sr. Director Product Solutions, US to help us continue to increase revenue and market growth for its business.  You will work in collaboration with our Growth and Client Service leaders and capability experts (ex: tech consulting and strategy, data, customer experience, media) to lead and solution client sales opportunities for Merkury’s identity, consumer data and data clean room products.   

You will manage proactive new business opportunities and RFPs and existing client upsell opportunities to clients.  Responsibilities include qualification of client sales opportunities through early stage discovery and situation analysis of business goals, mar-tech stacks, tech, identity and data partners, priority use-cases and strategies. You will be the subject matter expert, able to organize, craft and present Merkury product presentations that illustrates how Merkury drives business value across use-cases such as real-time personalization and CRM, enterprise identity and 1st-party data management, targeting of customers and wider prospects in cookieless media and more.  

Additional responsibilities include collaboration with sales and business stakeholders to develop appropriate Merkury product fees across opportunities, and ensuring that contracts and any required data privacy and regulatory steps and standards are managed.

This is remote position, reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer of Merkury and you will collaborate with multiple Merkle and dentsu leaders and partners. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in business, marketing, analytics or technology
  • 5+ years of experience in a technology platform, mar-tech, ad-tech, data sales and solution or client leadership role.  
  • Experience summarizing client situations and opportunities and translating into clear product sales and solution opportunities and presentations.
  • Experience with identity and data companies and solutions for marketing, CRM and media audience targeting, analytics and measurement 
  • Knowledge of and experience working with leading mar-tech platforms such as DMPs, CDPs, ESPs, marketing clouds and/or data environments and tech companies (ex: AWS, Google Cloud, MSFT Azure, Snowflake,etc) as part of sales, partnership or solutioning efforts. 
  • Experience organizing and communicating sales opportunity status or collaborating with sales leaders to ensure important information, stage, sizing of potential deals is reported.
  • Expertise “in the room” in pitch situations representing identity resolution, 3rd-party consumer data for analytics and marketing use, mar-tech within an organization’s technology stack, and strong knowledge of current ecosystem and solutions in media (cookieless, identity, data for targeting)
  • Experience collaborating with business and sales leaders to develop pricing and contracts, collaborating on negations with clients.

Additional Information

The anticipated salary range for this position is $136,000 - $219,650. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
