Job Description

We are looking to add a Senior Manager, Media Planning to our New York-based dentsuX team. Your responsibilities will bring you in person with your team and client on a periodic basis. You will join a supportive team and work with a client that sees us as a true partner. We are located in New York City area. You and your team will support a well-known luxury beauty brand.

You will serve in an important junior/mid-level role potentially more in time. You will report directly to the Director Client Solutions and Planning. You will also get to demonstrate your working knowledge of the media space (Traditional and Digital media preferred) and available media research and systems. You will help manage the daily tasks by assuring focus on important client goals and communicating appropriate resource needs to meet ongoing client goals.


  • Understanding of all media channels and experience coordinating across multiple media disciplines (Display, Partner Direct, Content, SEM, Social, TV, OLV, OOH, and Radio)
  • 2+ years of experience with upper funnel media awareness campaigns
  • Coordinate with creative agencies on creative assets and accounts needs
  • Coordinate with multi-channel teams to design modern, strategic and thoughtful integrated media plans across a myriad of awareness-based channels (TV, CTV, Video, Social, Programmatic and Audio)
  • Comfort overseeing and communicating directly with clients on questions and media plans
  • Help evaluate timelines and manage daily deliverables
  • Experience w/ analyzing competitive landscapes, pulling reports using agency tools and compiling insights
  • Manage a large Media Budget and Flowchart
  • Manage one direct report, Senior Associate, Planning
  • Guide media channel selection and forward think on new opportunities


  • 2+ years of total experience in a large agency setting
  • 2+ years of media planning and buying experience in the TV, CTV, Social and digital landscape
  • 1+ years of experience with Media Ocean, DDS, Nielsen Ad Intel, Pathmatics, Media Tools, Web Analytics, Ad Servers, Media Research tools or equivalent
  • Understand how to develop client relationships
  • Experience promoting collaborative relationships with other teams
  • Comfortable working with budgets/numbers and an understanding of mathematical concepts

The anticipated salary range for this position is $62,400 - $83,375 Salary is based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
