Job Description

Providing the services of an Ad Ops Representative, you will work with Vancouver, London and Tel Aviv teams to streamline, optimize, and improve the Ad Ops Department.  You will learn the technology, processes, and tools of the Ad Ops Department and system to reduce errors, increase efficiencies, enhance advertiser value, increase publisher performance, and assist to improve the yield of impressions.

  • Work as a team player and develop scalable processes and toolsets that will maximize the strengths of our advertisers
  • Learn the structure, tasks and responsibilities of our clients Ad Ops department
  • Learn the performance optimization tools and techniques of Ad Ops reps conducted to maximize advertiser value for ad campaigns
  • Learn our technical system to understand the different types of campaigns and capabilities of the system
  • Learn our reporting and analytics tools and requirements demanded by advertisers for data in regards to their advertising campaigns
  • Learn & expand the programmatic advertising capabilities
  • Assist in the set-up, monitoring, troubleshooting, closing, reporting and billing of advertising campaigns.
  • Conceive, design and implement processes to optimize the requirements of the Ad Ops Department
  • Coordinate with the technical team to conceive, design, and implement enhanced tools and system improvements to advance the capacity and productivity of the Ad Ops Department

KEY LEARNINGS:

  • Campaign set-up and execution, including generating and testing ad tags for campaign launches;
  • Complete quality assurance and testing of creative assets to ensure proper functionality across a variety of delivery platforms;
  • Ensure ad creative adheres to technical specifications and troubleshoot issues that affect implementation, tracking and/or reporting;
  • Communicate with clients to ensure the proper set-up and deployment of campaigns;
  • Collaborate with the other Ad Ops personnel to ensure clean handoffs for our 24/7 business;
  • Liaise with the broader Ad Ops and Finance teams to ensure accurate reporting, optimization and fulfillment of campaign delivery for all campaigns;
  • Use best practices to pace budget and optimize for performance where necessary;
  • Perform reconciliations between internal and 3rd party ad delivery metrics;
  • Provide recommendations and solutions to quickly resolve technical issues within the Ad Ops team, and when necessary work with the Tech team to resolve challenging issues;
  • Collaborate with design and programming teams to  implement solutions that increase effectiveness and efficiencies, and provide feedback and requests on our toolset so we can continuously improve our operations;
  • Additional projects and tasks supporting the Ad Operations team where required
  • Participate in review of requirements and designs;
  • Be familiar with COPPA and GDPR compliance requirements where necessary;
  • Ability to meet deadlines and shifting priorities;
  • Able to work effectively in fast-paced environment with live campaign management and short set up times;
  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • Ramp up quickly on new technologies and engines as required by particular project;
  • Interact professionally with team members;
  • Deliver and receive performance feedback in a mature manner.

Qualifications

  • 1 - 3 years of industry experience in ad operations or comparable data, systems, or process management;
  • Experience with technical ad operations and ad serving systems;
  • Knowledge of basic HTML and JavaScript (Advantage);
  • Familiarity with Jira (Advantage);
  • Great at maintaining customer relations;
  • Flexible and responsive beyond classic working hours;
  • Proficiency in Excel: VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc. (Advantage);
  • Ability to manage multiple deadline driven tasks and comfortable with shifting priorities;
  • Adaptability to client and peer feedback and applying to processes;
